Always Made Fresh Founder

My passion for cooking started as a young kid with my ABC cookbook.  My parents encouraged me to watch and help them in the kitchen.  I was a picky eater and frequently didn’t want what my parents were cooking.  By the time I was in High School and could drive to the grocery store, I realized if I volunteered to cook dinner, we’d eat what I wanted.  It was somewhat selfish of me, but it helped my parents and I learned how to cook well.  In college, I cooked for my roommate and she did the dishes, we were the perfect pair!  After graduating I’ve continued to cook for family and friends.  It has always been a hobby of mine.  A few years ago, I heard an ad for Master Chef try outs.  I had to give it a shot.  I made Chocolate Chip Banana Crumb Muffins and off I went to audition.  I made it to the second round, where it was no longer based on cooking ability.  A former rugby player and power tool marketer wasn’t wild enough for them!  Recently, I completed my first formal Culinary course.  I’m now taking my second level course and am looking to educate and feed others.
